In the Eighties they rocked the discos worldwide with firm tracks. How are the disco diva’s from back then doing now?

Kim (49) was a poppy new waver back then with more success in Europe – particularly Germany – than in England. ‘Living in a tourbus with a bunch of guys and dressing up in between crates’, she describes her glory days. ‘It was real glamorous!’
Greatest hits – Thanks to ‘Kids in America’ and ‘Cambodia’ she toured around the world, while it was no problem that The Pout couldn’t sing. Or dance. Kim still performs now and then, but has more success as a gardener and eco warrior these days.
Kim says: ‘Lessons learned during the Eighties: when you want to wear leather trousers and tops, always have the talken powder ready.’
