If youâve never heard of Kim before, you wonât forget her after watching this video of her post-Christmas party.
Weâre pretty sure weâve never written a story about Kim Wilde before, but this is certainly the best way to start. Kim was big in eighties pop and pretty cool (she had white blonde punky hair, loads of black eyeliner and a lovely face â thatâs cool, no?).
Since then sheâs taken part in various Here and Now tours, done a spot of celebrity gardening, written some books on plants and starred in an advert for Holland & Barrett (thanks Wikipedia).
But this is one of her career highlights. Hereâs Kim after what we assume was a particularly heavy night out celebrating at the Magic FM Xmas bash (the sparkly reindeer antler headband gives it away), having a good old fashioned sing song on the train to Potters Bar.
She just happened to be with her singer songwriter brother Ricky too, who handily had his guitar with him. Cue the music. They sang Kids in America and Rockinâ Around The Christmas Tree as only people that have thoroughly enjoyed themselves can.
In between songs, Kim decided to take a little walk down the train and comment on the killjoys around her, âjust looking down into our phones and stuff,â before carrying on with her fun.
The girl who filmed the whole thing seemed to relish it though and accompanied the video with this message: âKim Wilde and Ricky Wilde serenade passengers on the train home after the MagicFM Christmas Party.
âAfter a truly rubbish day, I got on the train home and couldn’t get a seat, a man pulled out his guitar “Oh here we go!” I thought. Then a drunken woman starts singing. Hang on a minute, I know that voice?! It really was KIM WILDE! This totally made my day. Thank you. She is an absolute legend! Merry Christmas everyone.â
Kimâs obviously seen the video and posted: âHilarious!!!! Have you ever heard of the movie Snakes on a Plane? This is the follow up… Pissed on a Train!!!!!; )hahahahahahaha@Wildericky.â
Yep, sheâs still cool.
