The 80's were unlike any other decade in music and Aussies are set to relive those glory years with the help of one of its biggest artists, Kim Wilde.
The pop singer, whose 1981 debut single Kids in America rocketed to the top five on the Australian music charts, said it was a time of innovation and brilliant diversity.
"There was this electricity to the music", she said. "Technology was exploding and becoming more accessible, producing a new kind sound never heard before".
Wilde will provide listeners with a unique insight into modern pop music's formative years.
The Kim Wilde 80s Show is set to air weekdays and will be a trip down memory lane for "people of a certain age". The show will air on digital radio station MORE Digital weekdays at 10am and Saturday at 8am.
