The name Kim has lately been the cause of bombing in North Korea, the headlines were wild. A very different grenade is Kim Wilde. The pop diva from the Eighties wants to have success once again. Her new album is called ‘Here come the aliens’. There is no political meaning to it, it doesn’t rock as much as in the songs from the British singer for a long time. She uses the recipe from ‘Kids in America’ in new tracks like ‘Kandy Krush’ and ‘Pop don’t stop’. Not all the twelve songs sound like yesteryear, but still the tires squeak.
On October 17 Kim Wilde is at the Nürnberger Musikklub Hirsch.
