The first single from 'Snapshots', Kim Wilde's album of cover versions, was a double A side, consisting of 'It's alright' (a cover of the track by East 17) and 'Sleeping satellite' (a cover of Tasmin Archer's debut hit). In a way, the single was not a good representation of the album, since both tracks were from the Nineties, whereas Kim chose songs from five different decades to cover on the album.

The single was promoted by two videos and some appearances on German television. Nevertheless, it didn't make much of a chart impression, peaking at number 98 in the German singles chart only. Subsequent singles from the album were only available as a download, which might mean this release was to be the last cd-single release for Kim Wilde. Time will tell...
