Kim Wilde has released many songs during her career. Some of them have been covered by other artists. On Cover Friday, Wilde Life presents cover versions of Kim Wilde songs. This week: Blonde Electra.

With rumours of the TV programme X Factor being dropped from ITV in the UK after the ratings dropped during the last season, it may be interesting to have a look at a Kim Wilde cover from earlier X Factor candidates.

Blonde Electra appeared in the 2014 series. The sisters Jasmina "Jazzy" King (born February 19, 1990) and Natalia "Ruby" King (born May 7, 1992) formed the duo in 2013 in Düsseldorf (Germany) after leaving their previous band King. They decided to move to England and audition for X Factor after they heard that Simon Cowell had been returned to the judging panel. They were selected to enter the competition, but after their performance of 'Kids in America' in week 1, they were the first act to be voted out. Was their version really that bad? Check it out for yourself below.
