Kim Wilde has released many songs during her career. Some of them have been covered by other artists. On Cover Friday, Wilde Life presents cover versions of Kim Wilde songs. This week: Radio Wendy.

Radio Wendy is a punk rock band from San Diego, CA (USA), founded in the early 1990's by Bill Lamb, Brandon, Marc Gariss and Mark Marino. Between 1993 and 1997 they released several 7" vinyl singles on almost as many independent labels, plus an album 'Tune in Tokyo' (1995) on Lolita Recordings.

Their cover version of 'Kids in America' was released on a 7" single in the mid-1990's. The track was produced by Gar Wood. Their version sounds not unlike other punk rock cover versions, but the scarcity of the 7" single makes this a rather collectable version.
