During her 35 year career, Kim has done many live shows and as a result there must be thousands of photographs of her on stage. Not all of them are as good as this one. The art of live photography is hard to master, because when an artist is on stage and the photographer is in 'the pit', there are many wrong angles. The so-called 'frog perspective' gives the artist a full lower body and a tiny head, to name just one complication. And then there's the microphone... That constant singing doesn't always make an artist look their best.
But here's Kim in action, and she's looking good. The photo was taken on June 9, 22 years ago during the Hits Tour. Kim Wilde performed live at the Aladdin Music Hall in Bremen (Germany), and the photograph here was taken by Jens Eilers.
