On September 8, 2006 - exactly ten years ago today - Kim Wilde released her first studio album in eleven years, 'Never say never'. The album was the result of a couple of years of hard work since her amazing 'comeback' in 2003, when she had a number 1 hit in several European countries with a new version of Nena's 'Anyplace anywhere anytime', which she'd recorded together with her.
With the new album a new set of promotional photographs was also produced. Shot in the spring of 2006 in Germany, Kim looked her best and although some of the photographs were Photoshopped a bit too enthusiastically, it's still a remarkable set of pictures. This week's Throwback Thursday pic is taken from that photo session.
