On this day in 1982, Kim Wilde performed live at the Dominion Theatre in London (UK), finishing her 18 date tour of the island before heading for mainland Europe the next month. It is quite remarkable how hard it is to find dated pictures from that tour, because while photographs were widely published at the time - after all, this was Kim's debut tour - almost none of them came with a date or venue mentioned. This is why many of the dates in the concerts listing on this website remain unillustrated.
On this Throwback Thursday we couldn't resist picking one live photograph from that tour however, and it's a photograph that was even used for a card that was sold well into the Eighties all over Europe. Kim the Oxfam girl with a simple white t-shirt and tight jeans... many teenagers at the time were wild about this photograph.
