In the early Eighties, pop magazines were spoilt for choice when it came to writing stories about pop stars. Sometimes they even got them together for an article, in order to fill a few pages with not one, but two big stars. One of such unlikely combinations was made by Flexipop in July 1982.
Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon and Kim Wilde were both very big stars at the time, and by writing down a conversation of the two and publishing some photographs the magazine had both a very appealing cover and an interesting article. Even now, the photograph of Simon and Kim still impresses: looking quite happy together, they are still pop stars but their paths rarely cross these days.
