Kim Wilde was a guest on the French television programme Varietoscope, which was broadcast on March 2, 1984 - exactly 33 years ago today. Kim and Ricky perform four songs during the programme, and Kim is also briefly interviewed in between songs.
The funny thing is, while the programme is meant to look futuristic - it even sports a robot that interferes in the interview - it does look rather amateurish. This week's Throwback Thursday photograph was taken during the recording of the programme and gives you a good impression of what it looked like.
