At the beginning of a new year we like to go back to the beginning of Kim Wilde's career. It's the year 1981 and a 20-year-old Kim is making her first promotional tour around the world. This week's photograph was published in the Finnish music magazine OK!, but it is safe to assume that the photograph was actually taken in the UK. Kim had just released her first singles 'Kids in America' and 'Chequered love' and is dressed very casually as you can see.
