Claire Richards recently announced the release of her second solo album ‘Euphoria’, due on 25 August 2023. The album features cover versions of famous female singers including Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Cher, Karen Carpenter, Donna Summer, Olivia Newton-John and Barbra Streisand. One of the tracks will be a version of Kim Wilde’s ‘Never Trust a Stranger’. The album is produced by Steve Anderson, who was responsible for an amazing remix of ‘Can’t Get Enough (of Your Love)’ back in 1990.
For those who don’t know, Claire Richards found fame as part of the group Steps. After enjoying a lot of success in this group she joined band member Ian “H” Watkins and they had a few hit singles in the UK as the duo H & Claire. Steps reformed in 2011.
Meanwhile, Claire debuted as a solo artist in 2019 with the album ‘My Wildest Dreams’. ‘Euphoria’ is her second solo offering.
