Cover Friday: Centredumonde & Claire Redor

Kim Wilde has released many songs during her career. Some of them have been covered by other artists. On Cover Friday, Wilde Life presents cover versions of Kim Wilde songs. This week: Centredumonde & Claire Redor.

‘Since 1997, Centredumonde has been composing songs that no one listens to and he won’t stop until the day of his death!’ This statement appears on Centredumonde’s Bandcamp page, where at the beginning of this month a new digital album was premiered. ‘The Sweet Kiss’ consists of five tracks that were recorded during the last twelve months in Nantes and Paris (France). One of the tracks is ‘Cambodge’, a French-language cover version of Kim Wilde’s ‘Cambodia’. The production of the track is actually quite wonderful, mixing electronic sounds with a dark, melancholic feel.

You can download the album for free Centredumonde’s Bandcamp page, so be sure to check it out along with the other four tracks that are equally fascinating.
