Cover Friday: FTU presenting CREAM

Kim Wilde has released many songs during her career. Some of them have been covered by other artists. On Cover Friday, Wilde Life presents cover versions of Kim Wilde songs. This week: FTU presenting CREAM.

It still baffles us when a Kim Wilde song, usually a thing of beauty, is demolished by another act who tries to make a cover version. A song like ‘You came’ deserves a better treatment than the run-of-the-mill trance created by FTU presenting CREAM in 2008. But there you go: the track was created and even released as a CD-single.

FTU (Future Trance United) is a joint one-off project of Baracuda’s Axel Konrad, Megara vs. DJ Lee, Pulsedriver, Rocco vs. Bass-T and Special D. They all appear regularly on a German series of compilation album called Future Trance. The CD-single featured five versions of the track, produced by Sebastian Göckede (a.k.a. Bass-T) and Sven Gruhnwald (Sven-R-G).
