Kim Wilde has released many songs during her career. Some of them have been covered by other artists. On Cover Friday, Wilde Life presents cover versions of Kim Wilde songs. This week: Malin Björkman.
Many artists have had a go at KIm’s debut hit ‘Kids in America’. So far, we’ve been able to find 147 different cover versions, and there are many more out there, as evidenced by this week’s entry. Swedish girl Malin Björkman is an unsigned artist who recorded a few tracks in 2009, to be distributed via Myspace, YouTube and other websites. It hasn’t resulted in a recording contract so far. Her version sounds a little cheap but does reveal a pretty decent voice nonetheless.
