Born in Rome, Italy on 7 September 1940 and son of film executive Salvatore Argento, this writer/director is called the Italian Hitchcock for his moody films.
After working as a journalist and film critic for the Paesa Sera, Dario Argento makes his first film as writer and director, “Probabilita Zero” in 1968.
Argento is credited on the Japanese sleeve for the Kim Wilde single Take Me Tonight for his film called Shadow. The song was added to the soundtrack of the film (during the end credits). In a dvd release Dario commented on it, saying that he was not pleased with this addition…
