Not included on the debut album Kim Wilde, this track was originally released as the B-side of the single Water on Glass in 1981. This was released as 7" single only.
In 1982, 'Boys' was the B-side of the Japanese release of Bitter is Better. In 1984, it was also the B-side of the French release of Bitter Is Better.
The track was included on the 1984 album The Very Best of Kim Wilde and other Kim Wilde compilation albums by EMI Records. It appeared on cd for the first time when The Very Best of Kim Wilde was released on CD in 1987.
Live performances
'Boys' was performed live during Kim's Debut Tour in 1982 and during the Catch Tour in 1983.
