In My Life

Song written by Ricky and Kim Wilde. Listed as 'bonus track' on the album The Singles Collection 1981-1993, this track was one of two new songs on this 'greatest hits' compilation.
A remixed version (created by West End) was released as a single in the autumn of 1993 with little chart success.

The single was released on 7" single, 12" single, cassette single and CD-single. It was the last ever single by Kim Wilde released on the 7" vinyl format. The format was given up by the record company MCA by the end of 1993.

Kim about 'In my life'

It's a mad video. I've always wanted to be a guitar hero so I play one in the clip, with the strap really low. It's really cool, like the way my dad does it. That is really what it is all about. Even though there is no guitar on the song, I don't give a toss. (1)
