Lopez, Mario

Born as Thomas Schatz in Hannover (Germany) on May 4, 1969, Mario Lopez made a name for himself as a DJ. Together with his Producers Sascha Graune, Matthias Wagner & Nils Ruzicka he became successfull at late 1990's. His first hit single was 'The sound of nature', released in October 1999. Between 2000 and 2006 he had various minor hits in Germany, including a cover version of A-ha's 'The sun always shines on TV'. He released four albums: 'Mother earth' (2000), 'The next chapter' (2002), 'Eternal sounds' (2003) and 'Music for the masses' (2008). In March 2008, his cover version of Kim Wilde's You came - taken from the latter album - reached number 74 in the German singles chart, during a chart run of just 2 weeks. It was his last chart appearance to date.
