Love Will Keep Us Together

Song written by Neil Sedaka and Howard Greenfield. It was first recorded by Sedaka in 1973 and released as a single in France. Soon after, the brother and sister vocal duo Mac and Katie Kissoon released the song as a single, and this version was the first to chart, peaking at number 12 in the Dutch Top 40 in December.

Captain & Tennille version

In 1975, Captain & Tennille recorded a new version of the track for their debut album, also titled 'Love Will Keep Us Together'. It became the lead single for that album, and managed to reach the top of the singles charts in Australia, Canada and the USA. In the UK, the single peaked at number 32. The couple also recorded a Spanish version of the track, entitled 'Por Amor Viviremos', which got to number 49 in the US Billboard Hot 100 charts, while the English-language version was still in that chart as well.

Kim Wilde version

Kim Wilde recorded a version of the song exclusively for a compilation album called 80's Re:covered, on which Eighties artists recorded tracks from various decades in Eighties style.
