You didn’t leave a note that you were going somewhere?
Well, no. No.

I always call my mom, don’t you?
No… How old are you?

Well, can I ask you first, how old you are?
No I just wonder how old you are that you had to leave a note for your mother…

We’ll get acquainted later. Okay, Kim, you’re here to sing your new single, ‘The Touch’, why don’t you move over to our set there, with all the dolls and the dummies…

(Adam Curry translates the conversation, then the performance starts.)

Short video in which Kim makes a statement against drugs.

“Hi, I’m Kim Wilde, and being a girl like most girls out there I’m very concerned about how I look, which isn’t unusual. I take good care of my skin and it makes it a lot more difficult to do that, I’m aware of, if you are on drugs. I’ve got some friends and girlfriends who are on drugs and they’ve got horrible skin. I know it sounds [like] a small thing, but it’s quite important really. Don’t do it.”
