A Japanese garden with squares of thyme, pebbles and gravel. The Japanese roof garden is situated on top of the Brunei gallery of SOAS University of London, near Russell Square.

First made by squatters in the 1970’s as a kind of guerilla action, it is now supported by the city council.

Kim explains a bit about the 10 day detox plan by Michael van Straten which she is doing for the second time right now (this is day 9 for her). They also discuss the Atkins Diet briefly. Kim explains that Hal and her have tried it last year but she didn’t see any long-term benefits of this particular diet, although it would help in situations where you “desperately want to lose weight, if you’ve got a wedding or something.”
