A series of live concerts, usually in various different cities and/or different countries is commonly known as a ‘tour’. During her career Kim has done many of such tours, often solo with her own band, but also as part of a bigger event. Here is a listing of these tours in chronological order:
In the summer of 1990, Kim Wilde was the support act for David Bowie during his European Sound & Vision tour. The tour started on 4 August 1990 at the Milton Keynes Bowl in Milton Keynes (UK) and finished after 21 dates at the Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon (Portugal).
Kim Wilde did the Snapshots & Greatest Hits tour in support of her 2011 album Snapshots in March 2012. Starting at the Volkshaus in Zurich (Switzerland) on 6 March 2012 and finishing at the Columbiahalle in Berlin (Germany) on 15 March 2012, the nine date tour featured a concert that ran a little over two hours. Three more dates happened in October.
Each concert started with the intro of Dream Sequence, during which video images from Kim’s childhood an early career were shown. The songs played during the concerts were:
Kim Wilde embarked on her third tour in March 1985. The tour, entitled ‘Rage to Rock Tour’ was in support of the album Teases & Dares but instead of using the glamorous image on that album’s sleeve, Kim return to her rock ‘n’ roll roots with looks to match: she borrowed a jacket from her father and looked more scruffy than she’d done in the months previous. Starting in Hamburg (Germany) on March 15, 1985 and finishing on 2 April 1985 in Copenhagen (Denmark), the tour consisted of 16 dates, 9 of which were in Germany.
Quofestive was the name of a tour that featured Status Quo with support acts Roy Wood and Kim Wilde. Starting on 3 December 2011 in Birmingham and ending on 17 December 2011 in Glasgow, the tour consisted of 11 dates across the UK. Kim Wilde played a 40 minute set and joined Status Quo and Roy Wood at the end of the concert for a group rendition of a medley of Winter Wonderland and Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.
13 years after the Hits Tour Kim Wilde undertook a new solo tour in support of the album Never Say Never. The tour started on 20 February 2007 and went on for 10 dates until it finished on 23 March 2007 in Kosice (Slovakia). A second leg followed in October/Novermber, with the first date on 31 October 2007 in Crailsheim/Ilshofen (Germany) and the last one on 15 November 2007 at the Oosterpoort in Groningen (Netherlands). The tour finally resulted in 23 dates, most of which (14) took place in Germany.
Name of the tour that Kim did in support of the album The Singles Collection 1981-1993 in 1994. The tour began in January 1994 and lasted until June. Kim performed live in Europe, Japan and Australia in a total of 45 gigs.
In May 2009, Kim performed during the Here & Now Tour 2009. The tour consisted of seven dates in the UK. Originally the tour would have had Boy George as headliner, but after he was sentenced to prison earlier in the year, he was replaced by Rick Astley. Other acts included in the line-up, besides Kim, were Nathan Moore (from Brother Beyond), Hazel O’Connor, Altered Images, Howard Jones and Kid Creole & the Coconuts. The tour started on 14 May 2009 in Liverpool and ended on 23 May 2009 in London. Other shows took place in Manchester, Nottingham, Cardiff, Newcastle and Birmingham.

In December 2004, Kim performed during the fifth edition of the Here & Now Tour. Split over seven dates, seven acts played live during a set lasting for three hours approximately. The bill featured, besides Kim, Midge Ure, Belinda Carlisle, Nik Kershaw, Living in a Box, Limahl and Bucks Fizz. The tour started on 10 December 2004 in Sheffield and ended on 18 December 2004 in Brighton. Other shows took place in Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, London and Plymouth. The nostalgic Eighties tour ‘Here & Now 2001’ was announced in June 2001. Paul Young, Kim Wilde, Curiosity Killed the Cat, Nick Heyward, Heaven 17, Go West and T’pau did eight live shows in major arenas in different parts of the UK. The tour started on 8 November 2001 in Newcastle and ended on 1 December 2001 in Minehead. Other shows took place in Sheffield, Birmingham, Brighton, London, Manchester and Cardiff. Named the ‘Here & Now Greatest Hits Tour’ and split over seven dates, no less than ten acts played during a set which lasted for over three hours. The bill featured, besides Kim, China Crisis, T’pau, Curiosity Killed the Cat, Nick Heyward, Heaven 17, Howard Jones, Five Star, ABC and headliner Paul Young. The tour started on 12 December 2003 in Sheffield and ended on 20 December 2003 in Birmingham. Other shows took place in Brighton, Cardiff, Newcastle, Manchester and London. After the success of the Here & Now Tour 2001, Kim Wilde was asked to participate in the third edition of this tour (after a second edition was organised in April 2002). Visage, Belle Stars, Dollar, Altered Images, Five Star and Human League did nine live shows in major arenas in different parts of the UK. The tour started on December 12 in Newcastle and ended on December 22 in Manchester. Other shows took place in Sheffield, London (2), Bournemouth, Cardiff, Brighton and Birmingham.
