Little did fans know, that at the beginning of 2013, Kim had already started writing songs for a Christmas album, to be released at the end of the year. Via Twitter she kept fans up to date on her escapades, with in-studio photos and cheeky tweets. Meanwhile, there were lots of radio commitments and live gigs to keep her busy as well. Her radio show Secret Songs was sponsored by the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and she also did a short programme for Australian TV about the Chelsea Flower Show.
Speaking of Australia: there was a short tour down under together with Nik Kershaw in October, and a short tour in the UK with Nik in December. Musically, Kim was busy too: a track with the British Electric Foundation was finally released in the Summer, with an accompanying music video, plus duets with DJ Bobo, Born Crain and a project with Funkstar Deluxe. And in November, 'Wilde Winter Songbook' was released, with all the radio and live promotion surrounding it.
Wilde Life presents the now traditional annual look back at Kim Wilde's year, featuring over 60 photographs. It's an attractive way to look back at another exciting year.
