As we look back, we realize that 2020, 2021 and 2022 were marked by the Covid-19 pandemic. That seems to be part of the past in most of the world, and for most of 2022 we have been lucky to witness a slow revival of the “old world”, with live performances back in our lives.
As we look forward, 2023 seems to be a year full of surprises. A few live dates have already been announced, and there are more in the pipeline. All the confirmed live dates will appear on the official Tour Dates page on kimwilde.com. During last year’s tour, Kim has announced that she will be working on a new album this year. Whether this will be released already this year remains to be seen. Fans have also been anxious for (deluxe) re-releases of Kim’s MCA albums. Requests to Universal Records have been made, but there’s been no news from them yet.
Meanwhile, Marty Wilde is celebrating his 65th year on stage, incredibly, and will be performing in the UK throughout the year. You can find his tour dates here. Well worth checking out! Marty has been working on an autobiography for some time already – hopefully this will also see the light this year. Fingers crossed!
You will read about all this and more right here on Wilde Life, keeping you up to date on all things Wilde! But first, we wish you a happy and healthy 2023. May this be a good year for all of us.
