With her smouldering dark eyes and her wild, windblown look Kim Wilde (20) - daughter of Marty Wilde who was a rock star in the Fifties - looks ready for the Wilde-party organised by a disco in Johannesburg. She arrived here in South Africa for a visit of two weeks. She doesn't walk in the shadows of her dad, who visited South Africa 20 years ago. During the last six months she made a name for herself with her record Kids in America. Her debut album, Kim Wilde, was also a hit. On Wednesday there will be a reception in the gold city's discotheque to welcome her. Everyone will wear typically American T-shirts and jeans. Kim will hand out a prize to the best dressed visitor. She will also perform in the shows Video 2 and Pop Shop.
