In England the Veronica Awards have been announced. They are called the British Rock and Pop Award there. The big winners were Shakin’ Stevens, Kim Wilde and Toyah. Members of the Human League turned up to pick up a glass of champagne. Kim was there without her current lover Steve Strange. We won’t keep a picture of the two from you. Furthermore it was apparent that Phil Oakley, vocalist of the League had his hair cut above the ears.
