The cool blonde in the cool CCH: could it start? It went! Kim Wilde (23), England’s female super star, caused a hysteria among the 3000 fans just by her presence. She came, was seen – and a stream of unleashed fans rushed to the stage.
The following 80-minute performance kept what the Wilde fans had promised. The disco skirt plumped with hits and full of well-controlled systems, candy-colored headlights and artificial fog provided the visual background.
But from a critical distance, Kim Wilde’s success remains a mystery. Their movements and their charisma are limited to the “Musikladen” routine, the band was noticed that it is a special purpose group put together for the tour. Conclusion: Kim Wilde convinced her fans, but didn’t win any new ones.
