Kim Wilde goes into the night in the deep blue of an improbable 'American night'. It is the cinema (see the artwork by Sheila Rock) ... Kim, I increasingly feel like you're just a tool in the hands of your brother. Why take a perverse pleasure to lock you up in the niche that you choose? Little Marilyn of innocuous sweet pop and yet so endearing, I refuse to believe you're a 'Love Blonde' ... It's on you to show otherwise. An album that's less good than the preceding despite the presence of Gary Barnacle (Leisure Process, Wendy Wu) and 'Dancing in the Dark', a rather weak composition mixed by the omnipresent Nile Rodgers.
