It isn’t going too bad with Kim Wilde lately. The tour with Michael Jackson was of course a success and her LP ‘Close’ was possibly even more successful, which is proved by no less than four singles being hits. In her lovelife Kim is very satisfied as well. In interviews she has declared that she has a steady boyfriend. Calvin Hayes is his name and he’s drummer with Johnny Hates Jazz. According to Kim he is a faithful, intelligent and humorous guy and her father has already said she should marry him. Kim is taking it slowly, but in case she wants to retire, she has already bought a farm in Hertfordshire. Can you picture it: Mrs. Wilde as a real English lady, drinking tea with other ladies in the neighbourhood? We hope she stays in pop for a while.
