One of the artists performing in the tv-programme “Foto Feest ’92” is Kim Wilde. The English singer was in the Netherlands recently as well. Then we asked her: you are photographed quite regularly, do you make photographs yourself as well?
“It was more of a hobby of mine than it is now. I had a cute little Pentax-camera with an automatic light meter. When I do it, I try to make arty pictures. I am an art junkie. I always think about the composition.”
Do you have a favourite photographer?
“Not really. But I do admire Anton Corbijn’s work.” For better understanding: he made LP sleeves for her in the beginning of her career. “A sensitive, intelligent guy”.
