Pop-star Kim Wilde has spoken for the first time of her “intense” love affair with madcap Radio One DJ Chris Evans. The pair fell for each other when they presented Channel 4’s Big Breakfast Show together. The heavenly romance lasted only six weeks but Kim, 35, said it had a major impact on her life.
She said: “It was an intense relationship and had a profound effect on both of us… six weeks can be a lifetime sometimes. Through meeting him lots of things changed for me – a lot of attitudes to myself, about a number of things. It’s been great to have him in my life and I don’t regret it at all.” She said she had stayed friends with Chris since their fling ended two years ago.
Kim told Hello! magazine she’s now found happiness with new boyfriend Hal Fowler, her co-star in West End musical Tommy.
