Yesterday afternoon in the Bild-box on the Alex-Springer-Passage. Fans wait for autographs from their idol. Then she comes, Kim Wilde, without her voice the hits of the eighties would have lost a dimension. Yesterday evening she would perform at Stars for Free in the Wuhlheide. She came in the Bild-box from the soundcheck. How does she keep fit? “I go on the cross-trainer every morning for 20 minutes”.
In 1981 her hit Cambodia was released. About the war in Iraq she says: “It just shows that unfortunately the world doesn’t change. Man goes to war, and that’s a reality of life. But I’m not saying that we should give up hope. There’s always hope.”
