Kim Wilde inspires during tourdate in München

With her first Germany concert after 13 years Kim Wilde steered her fans in the Munich Elserhalle on 4 March into a true joy-tumble. Organizer of the tour is the Hamburg company A.S.S. Concert & Promotion.

With the scarcely two-hour appearance in the nearly sold out hall the EMI artist presented a mixture of old classical hits like “Kids in America”, “Chequered Love” or “View From A Bridge” and the new songs of her current cd “Never Say Never”. And so she also presented her new single “Together we Belong”. Also she surprised with rare pieces like “Never trust a stranger” and cover versions of “Chasing Cars” from Snow Patrol, Nenas “Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann” and “Enjoy the silence” from Depeche mode, changing seamlessly into “Cambodia”.

In her live-band, in which also the ex-Kajagoogoo-Bassist Nick Beggs plays, she maintains family ties: Rick Wilde plays the guitar, her younger sister takes care of backing vocals.

After the prelude in Munich there are still concerts in Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin lined up. Before Wilde had already played before sold out houses in France and Scandinavia, while her father, who is 67 years old, English Rock’n’Roll pioneer Marty Wilde, is on tour in England.
