Review – Kim Wilde in the Live Music Hall in Köln

Full lips, leather pants, blonde mane: this is how Kim Wilde presented herself to her fans in Köln in the Live Music Hall (March 5, 2007). Kim Wilde, who was one of the most successful singers in the eighties, comes back to the stage thanks to Nena and her producer Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen.
Kim Fowler (after her marriege to actor Hal Fowler) is wife, mother, book author and horticulturalist. In fact her comeback wasn’t planned. With nena Kim Wilde recorded an english version of ‘Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann’ in 2003 and in 2006 Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen produced her comeback-album ‘Never say never’.

Unbelievably attractive with an emotive voice she enjoyed being admired by her old but also the younger audience. Beaming like never before she hammered out the old songs ‘Cambodia’ and ‘Kids in America’, but also the tracks from her newst cd ‘Never say never’. All along her were satisfied, beaming faces, glad to see Kim on stage again. Already from the first minute the room was filled with emotion, pure lust and magical romance!

After her tour she will take care of her children again, doing the laundry and take care of her 1,5 acre of county garden. Thanks Kim.
