She is pop star, mother of two children, gardener – and since yesterday she’s 50! Kim Wilde (‘Kids in America’) celebrated her birthday with 150 guests in Dresden – with an exclusive concert by Radio Dresden in Kurländer Palais.
Why Dresden?
I wanted to be on stage on my birthday. Dresden simply fit in. Next I go to Berlin.
And the gifts?
…I’ve got some of them already on the evening before from my baby daughter Rose. The taxi driver at the airport in Dresden has surprised me with a cake. You have really spoiled me.
What does age mean to you?
It does give me something to think about. All the gifts I have, such as my children, my husband, my career and health. I’m really a happy person.
