Review – Here come the aliens

Kim Wilde’s new album is for aliens

Here Come the Aliens is the first studio album in seven years by pop icon Kim Wilde. Produced by Ricky Wilde, the album contains 12 brand new songs recorded at RAK Studios in London.

That was the very same recording studios where a big number of albums that changed pop and rock music were born and where Wilde began her career back in 1981, recording seminal hits as Chequered Love and Cambodia. The album combines Wilde’s pop roots with her love for rock music, presenting great guitar riffs and drum beats.

The multi-award-winning artist – who has sold more than 30 million records worldwide – burst on to the music scene in 1981 with the worldwide hit Kids In America. She followed with some memorable hits of the 1980s: You Keep Me Hangin’ On, You Came and Four Letter Word.
