Kim Wilde has vowed to keep performing as long as her father. The star’s dad is veteran rock’n’roller Marty Wilde who is currently celebrating his 80th year. “I look at my dad and think I’m not going anywhere soon, God willing”, she told Irish News. “Music just doesn’t want to leave us alone, any of the family. Both of my children are singer-songwriters. It’s a part of the family.” Kim toasts (almost) 40 years of pop stardom with her first in-concert album, Aliens Live on 16 August. Available on CD, digital and limited-edition neon orange-coloured vinyl, the collection mixes classics with highlights from last year’s comeback album, Here Come The Aliens.
