Chiffons (the)

American all-girl group, formed in the Bronx, New York, where all the members were born. The group consisted of erstwhile backing singers Judy Craig (born 1946), Barbara Lee (born May 16, 1947), Patricia Bennett (born April 7, 1947) and Sylvia Peterson (born September 30, 1946), are best recalled for ‘He’s So Fine’, an international hit in 1963. They subsequently enjoyed hits with ‘One Fine Day’ in 1963 and ‘Sweet Talkin’ Guy’ in 1966.
They also were the original performers of the song When the Boy’s Happy (The Girl’s Happy Too), which was performed live by Kim during her first tour in 1982.
