Rolf Kuula (vocals, drums), Tom Nyman (vocals, guitars), Hippi Hovi (vocals, bass), Eddie Abacka (vocals, guitars) and Tore Carlson (vocals, keyboards) formed Exom in 1981. They released a single in 1978 called ‘Disco Lover’. Another single release, ‘Open Your Eyes’, followed two years later.
They recorded a cover version of Chequered Love in the Finnish town Nykarleby on December 19, 1981 for what sounds like a demo tape. The recording ended up on YouTube in January 2016, almost 35 years later.
