Kim's brother Ricky and his wife Mandy are organising the Wilde Winter Ball this November, in aid of the Breast Unit at the QE2 in Welwyn Garden City, and the Plastic Surgery Unit at Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
The event will be held on November 28 at Knebworth House. It's the second event organised by the pair, after the successful Wilde Summer Ball two years ago, which raised over £ 50,000. The money raised that night was used to buy a state of the art scanner, which in the first week alone discovered a cancer that previously would have gone undetected.
This year's edition will give visitors the chance to bid on various auction prizes, contributed by friends and sponsors. If you'd like to get the bidding started ahead of the event, you can visit the auction prizes page on the Wilde Cancer Foundation website and place your bid. Among the prizes you will find concert tickets for Kim Wilde's UK concerts in December, a song custom written and produced by Ricky and a Fender guitar signed by Eighties icons including Nik Kershaw, Go West, Martin Fry and of course Kim Wilde.
