At the beginning of the year, we would like to wish you a very happy and healthy 2020. Kim Wilde fans have a great year to look back to, and another very busy year to look forward to. Here’s a taster of what you can expect here in the next twelve months…
After the Wilde Winter Acoustic tour that took place in Germany, Switzerland and the UK last month, we may expect a reprise of that in December 2020. But first, there’s the release of three deluxe editions of the first three Kim Wilde albums – ‘Kim Wilde’, ‘Select’ and ‘Catch as catch can’ – at the end of January. Put together with the involvement of Tom Parker (remastering) and Marcel Rijs (liner notes), Cherry Pop will present to you an astounding set of albums. Expect to be pleasantly surprised.
Kim herself will go on tour this year, in every country where they want to have her. You can always find a listing of confirmed live dates on the Tour dates page on kimwilde.com. Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the UK, Germany, Switzerland and France are already on the list, more countries are expected to follow.
In the second half of 2020, a greatest hits album is expected. Details have yet to be confirmed but you can expect to be pleasantly surprised once again when that happens.
And, of course, then there are always things that we don’t know yet and happen unexpectedly. One thing’s for sure: Wilde Life will certainly pull things from the ever expanding archive to accompany this ‘greatest hits’ year.
