Today marks the 53 year anniversary of Marilyn Monroe’s death. The actress and model was best known for her successful films in the 1950s and a rumored love affair with President John F. Kennedy. In photography, she has become an inspiration for many other women, including Kim. There’s no question that Kim had an interest in Marilyn Monroe. In her London home during the 1980s she had a portrait of Marilyn on her wall (as shown below), and during her career she has made a few photographs that bear a striking resemblance to Marilyn’s, as you can also see below.
