Kim Wilde attends launch of the Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch

Today the Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch was launched. The lunch will raise funds for veterans to attend the King Edward VII Hospital’s pain management programme. The launch was attended by London’s 692nd Lord Mayor William Russell, Michael Hockney MBE and Kim Wilde.

The Lunch is hosted by the Lord Mayor and attended by a Royal Guest of Honour each year. Previous Royal Guests include HRH The Prince of Wales, HRH The Princess Royal and HRH The Duke of Sussex. In a relaxed and informal atmosphere, guests enjoy a delicious curry lunch, including unlimited wine and beer. Every year guests include senior leaders from the City’s business and professional communities, members of Livery Companies and Ward Clubs; senior officers of the British Army and the other services and members of both Houses of Parliament.

Tickets for the event, which will take place on April 2, are available now via the official website of the Army’s National Charity.
