The Fashion and Textile Museum in London is currently showing the exhibition Outlaws: Fashion Renegades of 80s London. It centres around the legendary nightclub Taboo, opened by designer and performance artist Leigh Bowery in 1985.
One of the pieces shown in this exhibition is an outfit we know well: a ‘stretch multicoloured panelled sweatshirt and skirt’ designed by Annie La Paz, worn by Kim WIlde in the music video for The Second Time.
You can still see the exhibition at the Fashion and Textile Museum in London until 9 March. The museum is opened on Tuesdays and Saturdays between 11am and 6pm. For more information, check the website.
