Traditionally, Spotify unleashes its viral marketing campaign Spotify Wrapped in December, during which listeners can view information about their most-listened-to songs and artists as well as their favorite music genres and artists are invited to share the number and location of streams of their content. However, it is widely suspected that only activity from between January 1 and October 31 of a given year is included.
With all this in mind, it is pretty impressive that Kim Wilde has reached 13.9 million listeners in 183 countries via Spotify. This amounts to 3.7 million hours of music, or 66.3 million individual songs.
If you add up all those who listen to Kim Wilde on vinyl and CD’s, it’s been quite an incredible year for Wilde music.
