Today is National Album Day in the UK, celebrating the album format that has given so many people so much pleasure through the years and will hopefully continue to do so in the years to come.
Kim and Marty Wilde are ambassadors for this day – along with many other great names in British music – and they have supported the day on their social media.
Kim chose her favourite album on Twitter:
#MyAlbumEscape is ’Tommy’ @TheWho, must have a spiritual connection with this as years later @Pete_Townshend asked me to play Mrs Walker in the West End where I met hubby Hal Fowler – happy ever after @AlbumDayUK pic.twitter.com/LY4fY8PjH2

Kim, Marty and Roxanne will be on BBC Radio Solent today at 1pm, talking about albums from Elvis, 80’s albums & Marty’s brand new chart album Running Together.
Of course we are curious what you favourite album of all time is, so please tell us on Twitter.
