15 September 2024 – Today sees the launch of a new gallery on Wilde Life: a presentation of magazine covers from all over the world featuring Kim Wilde. And when we say ‘all over the world’, we do mean all over the world – although obviously the gallery does feature European magazine covers most of all.
The first ever magazine cover was published on the 28 May 1981 issue of Smash Hits magazine in the UK. Since then, there have been over 150 covers (that we know of) from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Turkey and – back in the day – Yugoslavia.
